Should I Repair or Not: Automatic Transmission Oil Leaks

Transmission oil leaks should be considered on a case-by-case basis.

There are two types of transmission oil leaks: automatic and manual.

In the case of a manual transmission, the oil is also called gear oil and is used to lubricate the gears, so a small amount of loss will not cause any problems and will not affect driving.

For an automatic transmission, if the oil is only slightly泄漏，you may not need to repair it. You can simply purchase a small can of ATF oil and add it as needed.

Leak vs. Seepage

After the gasoline dries, use sandpaper to reduce the leak and mix it with AB glue to paste it on the leak location until the glue dries.
