When a1驾驶证 holder has accumulated 12 points, they should within 15 days to the vehicle management department or the public security bureau to participate in a 7-day training course on traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge. After the completion of the training course, the traffic management department will arrange an examination of traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge. If the examination is passed, the driver's points will be cleared and their driver's license will be returned to them. If the examination is failed, the driver must continue to attend training and take the examination. If the driver refuses to attend training or take the examination, their driver's license will be announced as invalid by the traffic management department.

According to the (Vehicle License Administration and Usage Rules), when a driver's license holder has accumulated 12 points or more during a score period, the traffic management department will retain their driver's license.

If a driver has accumulated more than 24 points during a score period, the traffic management department will also require them to pass a road driving skills examination. The examination will be based on the driver's highest qualified model. If the examination is passed, the driver's points will be cleared and their driver's license will be returned to them.

The driver must attend the training and examination within 20 days of the traffic management department's notice. The training course will cover traffic safety laws, regulations and related knowledge. The examination is designed to ensure that drivers have a clear understanding of traffic laws and regulations.
