How often should you change your engine oil?
The answer depends on the type of oil you are using for your vehicle. Generally, there are three types of oil: full synthetic, semi-synthetic, and mineral oil.
Here are some requirements for changing oil:
1. Full synthetic oil should be changed every 10,000 kilometers or 1 year.
2. Semi-synthetic oil should be changed every 7,500 kilometers or 7-8 months.
3. Mineral oil should be changed every 5,000 kilometers or 6 months.
Here are some tips for choosing engine oil:
1. Choose oil according to the requirements of your engine. Don't use too high a level of oil on low-performance engines or too low a level on high-performance ones.
2. Choose multi-grade oil, which saves money, has a long life, and provides good protection for your engine. However, using a high-grade oil may cause some problems like early blackening and small oil pressure.
3. Some famous domestic oil brands are quite good and much cheaper than imported ones, so you can use them with confidence.
4. In good engine condition and low temperature, use an oil with a small viscosity to keep your engine running smoothly. However, in hot seasons or severe engine wear, use a high-viscosity oil to form a protective film and reduce engine damage.
